The thing Ben likes most about being a CPA is getting to help people better their lives: "People often don’t understand all their options when it comes to their financial situation. Due to the stigma of talking about finances with friends and relatives, oftentimes little assistance is available for those looking for help to make the right decisions. That’s where I like to come in. In addition to helping prepare and file tax returns, I thoroughly enjoy educating people about how they can save money and provide a better future for their families."
Outside the office, Ben spends time with his wife, Amberly, an elementary school administrator, and their four children. As faithful Texas Christian University (TCU) alumni, they enjoy attending various sporting events as well as family fun days around campus. As a lifetime Fort Worth area resident, the whole family are proud supporters of the Fort Worth Zoo. During the summer, the family enjoys escaping the Texas heat by vacationing in Colorado, where they enjoy fishing, hiking, and jeeping through the Western Colorado range. Ben is also a proud, life-long member, of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and serves as the TCU Chapter Advisor and Financial Advisor and often hosts dinners to help local alumni reconnect.
